Admission Criteria

Altamash College of Nursing is committed to selecting candidates who demonstrate academic excellence, a strong commitment to the nursing profession, and the potential to contribute positively to the healthcare community.

The admission criteria for various nursing programs are as follows:

Educational Qualifications:

Generic BSN (4 years) Degree Program:

  1. Matric Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects)
  2. FSC (Pre-Medical) with 50% marks minimum (Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects).
  3. Age Limit: 14-35 years.
  4. Gender Ratio: Open merit

Certified Nursing Assistant CNA (2 years) Diploma Program:

  1. FSC (Pre-Medical) with 45% marks minimum (Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects)
  2. Matric (Science) with 45 % marks minimum (Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects)
  3. Matric (Arts) with 50% marks, FA with 50% Marks<span
    Age Limit: 14-35 years
  4. Gender Ratio: Open merit

Entrance Examination:

All candidates must take and achieve a competitive score in the Altamash College of Nursing entrance examination done through National Testing System (NTS).
Details about the examination, including syllabus and testing dates, will be provided upon application.

Interview:

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview to assess communication skills, motivation, and alignment with the nursing profession.

Medical Fitness:

Medical Examination and Laboratory test will be done inside Altamash General Hospital with registered healthcare practitioner, indicating the candidate’s physical ability to undertake nursing education and practice.

Character and Conduct Certificate:

Submission of a character and conduct certificate from a reputable authority or institution.
