The Department of Prosthodontics at Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine recently conducted an insightful hands-on workshop titled “Art of Facebow Transfer”, specifically designed for final-year students. The workshop was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Naseer Ahmed, Dr Shuja Adil, and Dr. Huda Adil, which was commenced with an in-depth lecture, followed by a comprehensive demonstration of the facebow transfer from patient to articulator. Participants then engaged in a hands-on session, practicing the facebow transfer on skulls, allowing them to refine their skills in this crucial prosthodontic procedure. This initiative underscores AIDM’s dedication to fostering clinical excellence by providing students with not only knowledge but also the practical skills essential for their professional growth. The active involvement of the entire Prosthodontics Department added to the workshop’s success, making it a collaborative effort that enhanced the learning experience for all.
