He\/she is to be the correspondent with the outside bodies. The AIDM QEC department is established in March 2018. The Director QEC, Dr. Hina Gul Khattak monitored QEC functions and now has been oversea by Director QEC, Dr. Shaur Sarfaraz has<br \/>\ntaken the charge.<\/p>\n<p>The Cell is responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promoting public confidence that the quality and standards of degree programs are enhanced and safeguarded.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing quality standards and the quality of teaching and learning in each subject area.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing academic affiliations with other institutions in terms of effective management of standards and quality of programs.<\/li>\n<li>Defining clear and explicit standards as reference points for reviews, and clarifying what employees can expect from candidates.<\/li>\n<li>Developing a qualifications framework by setting out the attributes and abilities expected from holders of qualifications such as MBBS, BDS, MDS, MD, Bachelor\u2019s, Bachelor with Honors, Master\u2019s, M.Phil, and Doctoral degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Developing program specifications that clarify the knowledge, understanding, skills, and other attributes students should achieve upon successful completion of a specific program.<\/li>\n<li>Developing quality assurance processes and evaluation methods to ensure the maintenance of academic standards, foster curriculum and staff development, and support research and scholarly activities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that the university\u2019s quality assurance procedures align with national arrangements for maintaining and improving the quality of higher education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;QEC is responsible to develop procedures for the following:&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h2|font_size:22px|text_align:left|color:%23386278&#8243; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approval of new programs.<\/li>\n<li>Annual monitoring and evaluation, including program monitoring, faculty monitoring, and student perception.<\/li>\n<li>Departmental review.<\/li>\n<li>Student feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Employer feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s, M.Phil., and PhD degree programs (if applicable).<\/li>\n<li>Subject review.<\/li>\n<li>Institutional assessment.<\/li>\n<li>Program specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Qualification framework.<\/li>\n<li>ISO 9001:2008 Certification: identification of processes that constitute a complete ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) using the process approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;The core processes which are considered by QEC under the project of ISO 9001:2008 QMS are:&#8221;
